Michele Matyasovsky - Vice President
Michele Matyasovsky is the Vice President of MSG Promotions and is primarily responsible for generating event-based revenue for the U.S. Women’s Open. Michele began her career in golf working for the United States Golf Association Foundation helping to manage the national grants initiative and co-directing the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program. From there, she began her first stint with MSG Promotions as an Account Executive for the U.S. Open Championships from 2006-2009 and as the Championship Manager for the 2009 U.S. Women’s Open.
In addition, prior to rejoining the MSG Promotions team in her new role, she served as the first National Director of Partnerships at FoodCorps, a fast-scaling national nonprofit that connects kids to healthy food in more than 600 schools across the country. While there, she led their corporate fundraising initiatives and raised more than $6.5 million dollars.
Michele earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in American Politics from Duke University, where she was a four-year member and captain of the nationally-ranked women’s basketball team and competed in two Final Four championships. She resides on College Hill in Easton, Pennsylvania, with her partner, a healthcare attorney, and their son.
